About Us

Unique Alloys is an ISO 9001:2015 certified organization manufacturing various castings meant for pumps, valves, locomotives and shipping industry.

 

This organization was founded by technocrat metallurgist Mr. G. Y. Prasad as the manufacturing partner for Lazaro group of Spain in 1999 for their oil and gas products. Mr. Prasad is now the chairman and managing director of the company and has vast experience in metallurgy and foundry.

Mr. G.Y. Prasad has worked in various organizations in UK, Italy and Korea before starting Unique Alloys in 1999. The company is run by various managers who have miscellaneous stakes in the share-holding of the organization.

Unique Alloys manufactures castings in Carbon Steel, Low Alloy Steel, Duplex & Super Duplex SS, Hastelloy, Cryogenic Alloys, Precipitating Hardening Alloys as per ASTM, DIN, BS, & IS standards. We have been serving to the Major Pumps and Valves Manufacturers who cater to Petroleum, Chemical and Gas Industries Globally.

 

We have earned a reputation in Pumps industry, Valves industry & General Engineering segment. We have fully implemented Quality Management System which complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 45001:2018. We have NORSOK approval and CE Marking meant to cater to European standards.

Infrastructure

 

Industrial Castings weighing up to 1200 Kg in single piece & having installed capacity of 750 MT/month. Our factory is spread across 10000 Sq. yards.

  • 1000 Kg & 500 Kg Induction Furnace – Electrotherm make

  • 5 Ton capacity Heat Treatment Furnace with heat treatment graph facility – Gas Fired, calibrated at 1150° under TUV

  • Solution Annealing Facility – right next to the Heat Treatment Furnace

  • Shot Blasting Machine – Hanger Type

  • Cranes – 7.5 Ton cranes (2 Nos.) & 3 Ton Crane (2 No.)

  • Continuous Sand Mixture of 15 tons/Hr. capacity

  • Pattern shop with repairing & mounting facility

  • Systematic Pattern storage with ample space available

  • Full-fledged Fettling shop

  • Semi-Automatic Molding facility – CO2 Molding

  • Core making facility – CO2 & two-Part

  • Optical Emission Spectrometer – Fe & Ni base with 36 channels including Nitrogen.
